Joshua Tree Pet Resort — Attraction in Joshua Tree

I had such an amazing experience with Joshua Tree Pet Resort. From beginning to end, I cannot explain how seamless and convenient the process was! First of all, let’s talk about Christina! She is the sweetest, kindest person. You can tell she truly enjoys her job/life. It’s always so nice to come across good people like that, especially when you are trusting them with your pets. I have two shihpoos, Keto and Kylo. We take them with us everywhere. We plan vacations around them. However, we wanted to take a Hummer Tour around Joshua Tree - this meant our doggies couldn’t go with us. Only a week before our trip, I had to figure out a daycare thing for the dogs. I came across Joshua Tree Pet Resort and gave them a ring! Christina answered. She patiently explained the pricing and process to me and answered all my questions. She also gave impeccable directions - very detailed. I was confident in getting to her place because of how she explained everything so well and because of the overall experience I had with her over the phone and in simply viewing her website! Once we arrived to her place, another couple was picking up their dog and we were there to drop off. She has designated times for human interaction so that she can focus on our pets during the other times. We dropped them off and all was well. We came back that same day and there were no issues. Again, everything was so easy, convenient, and smooth! I can’t wait to use her services again!!! We loved visiting Joshua Tree so we know we will definitely come back. We give Joshua Tree Pet Resort an A++++++++. We boarded 3 dogs 2 Lab mix seniors and a 1 year old for 3 days in the Vip section. Gypsy, Shilo and Boots. We traveled from northern Ca to southern Ca for the Stagecoach Concert in Indio. We checked reviews and called all sorts of places from here to there. Gypsy who is getting better from an auto immune problem, Shilo has some real separation anxiety, Boots just a year old. After talking with Christina we just knew this was the place for them to stay. It was Boots first time and it had been ages since Gypsy and Shilo have been in a boarding situation They were treated like family. We can't say enough except so so grateful to have a outstanding pet resort to leave our fur babies. They were absolute happy campers and slept most of the way home except for pit stops. We traveled over 600 miles one way. Highly Recommended. Thank you so much for such care and treatment. If we are in this area in the future and need to board our boo boos we will without a doubt make reservations for them...

We boarded our pup Ruby at Joshua Tree Pet Resort for 3 nights in Oct'20 while we camped in the park, and Christina took excellent care of her. We selected the VIP boarding, which is a wonderful option and a really great value as she got to sleep in the house and treated as one of the family. We got pics of her snuggling in bed with for naps with them! Christina even took care of an allergic reaction in Ruby's ear that cropped up right before our trip, and treated and cleaned it to perfection.

One thing to note is that you sign a significant amount of paperwork ahead of boarding, including several difficult questions about what to do in the event of an emergency in case JTPR can't reach you while you're in the park (there's no service in most of it), which can be a little troubling.
