There is a short hike over to a great lookout to see both nugget falls and the glacier from a distance. Hiwever you can take the somewhat rugged hike that ascends over 900 feet and meanders through the forest. At one point you will climb 160 to 200 steps with lots of rocky terrain and steps along the trail. DO NOT ATTEMPT IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES CLIMBING STAIRS OR WITH BALANCE. Great views at several locations, running creeks, waterfalls, and forest...

Excellent place to go for hiking, If you are doing the complete loop, will take you around 2.5 hours, remember be aware of bears and enjoy the nature and how clean it is. Respect the wildlife and dress properly, make sure you bring what you need to enjoy your time inside. At the end, you can go to the visitor. Enter where the public toilets will be waiting for you. Parking lot accessible 5 minutes walking from the...

East Glacier Trail - unfortunately you can not see Nugget Falls and can not see the Nugget Falls river because of uncleared trees. We hiked out and back to the river from the visitors center at a medium pace - it took 45 minutes each way for a total of 1.5 hours. A small falls on the way was enjoyable.
