Visited in June 2025. The cruise lines offer a packed sardine bus ride here where they drop you off at the front door to the park for a bunch of money. While I was walking around Juneau, I found out you can take the city bus for two dollars to the park if you are willing to walk a mile from the bus stop into the park. I believe most people are coming here to hike so a one-mile walk is easy. The walk up to the park was quiet and paved. The best view of the glacier was while I was walking to the park.
