Stopped by this beautiful park today! This review is for the quick nature trail (not a loop) and the yellow trail (a loop that may confuse you). Nature trail, quick and easy! Brings you to a beautiful scenic spot where you can relax and look at the water or turn and head to the red trail. I turned back and headed to the yellow trail! The yellow trail is SAND! And I gave up after flagging a bunch...anyhow, this place is one of the last natural sand dunes areas in south Florida. It's 1 of only a few places in south Florida that you'll get to see this type of terrain & plants in such a big location....Oh, and it's all sand, once you get off the concrete path and boardwalk. But the views are worth the plowing through sand...
