What a gem! My friend and I rented kayaks earlier this week and spent the afternoon paddling on the river that winds its way through this park. Not only was the scenery beautiful but the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, particularly Candace. She really went “above and beyond the call of duty, from outlining pros and cons of various styles of life jackets to ensuring we had the “best” paddles, and told us several helpful tips before we set out.
