Buffalo Hill Golf Club — Attraction in Kalispell

Our day was ruined by an encounter with the club's president.

While enjoying a relaxing day, celebrating our upcoming wedding and waiting for our turn amid a busy schedule, my soon-to-be wife (wedding in 5 days), a paid rider in a golf cart for the first time, took a light-hearted test shot off the tee, while the groups in front of us worked to move forward. Instead of receiving a gentle reminder or understanding about the rules, the president of the club chose to aggressively confront us with angry outbursts. He shouted across the course, publicly embarrassing us in front of dozens of people and reducing my fiancée to tears and feelings of inferiority with his derogatory remarks. It wasn’t just a simple call-out; it felt like an outburst stemming from a day of delays and frustration.

This behavior, especially from someone in a position of authority and public relations, was both shocking and deeply upsetting. It tainted our entire experience and overshadowed the otherwise phenomenally enjoyable nature of the course and its crew.

It's ESSENTIAL to emphasize the contrast between the president’s behavior and the exemplary service provided by the other staff members. Their professionalism stands in stark contrast to the president's outburst. The Staff at Buffalo Hills couldn’t be more amazing.

They are each incredibly attentive, kind, caring, and extremely hard working. They have always made us feel like friends and appreciated customers. The staff is ultimately why we chose to get our memberships.

For potential and current members: while Buffalo Hills remains an ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE golf destination, it’s crucial to be aware of the unpredictable and, in our experience, inappropriate behavior from its current CLUB PRESIDENT.

The course and its regular staff deserve MORE THAN five stars, but encounters like ours can drastically change...

Definitely go to a different golf course if your having a fun celebration.

They were not very nice to our bachelorette party. We were following all rules, letting people pass us.

There were people ahead of us the whole time. Yet they came and warned us twice. YET WE WERE JUST WAITING FOR OTHER PEOPLE. We were all dressed up being respectful. They asked us if we were even knew how to play golf mid course. We payed just as much as everyone else.

We were respectfully waiting for other people ahead of us.

Beautiful challenging course with a tough few holes to start on the championship course. Maintained nicely with lots of hills and water hazards. You might want to leave your driver in the bag occasionally to score down the middle with an iron shot. Separate 9 hole course for your playing pleasure. There is a Driving range, pro shop, and restaurant. BRING INSECT REPELLENT!! MOSQUITOS ARE THICK THIS YEAR!
