City Park — Attraction in Kansas City

Good evening, all employees of Wyndotte county parks and recreation my family pray that all family members, associates and friends have had good health and will continue to have good health during this medical crisis. 18yrs of being allowed to volunteer as a Coach for the Wyndotte County parks and recreation department Flag football League,helping the Youngsters in our community enjoy something else such as learning how to get better with social skills, getting along with each other as well as accepting others that don't look like you, talk like you, or come from the same neighborhood as you. I wished to Thank the following people.The Unified Government of Kansas, The entire Board of directors of the Wyndotte County parks and recreation department, Shelly, George Steen, Coach Sheppard,Coach Mark, all of the employees who take the time to make schedules, the guy that checks the fields during bad weather, all of the people that are on the chain gang and most importantly the Parents who allow all of us who engage your children with these sports activities that the Wyndotte County parks and recreation department provides. We like visiting this park for picnic lunches on mild days. It has a pavilion shelter house with picnic tables and a great view of the train yards and the city. It also has a soccer field and several softball fields but I like the view from the hilltop the best. (Update: The city appears to be upgrading this park by adding additional benches and concrete pads on the hill. Will they also add picnic tables? I don't know. Another update is they seem to have locked the restrooms.)

They have added a Disc Golf Course which goes up and down the hills...

It was a nice location for our family reunion however around a certain time a large group of people invaded our space and we were told by the cops that they come there every night to do donuts in the parking lot.
