I took my wife and daughter out for lunch today only to find our regular spot was closed for the weekend. Very disappointed she googled to find an alternative to satisfy her craving. She found Sabor and it was closer to home so we headed that way. First impression was it was in an old service station converted to a restaurant. Cute and easy to find with plenty of parking. We walked in and were immediately welcomed with a warm hello. The place was very clean and simple. Pictures of the food was on the walls to help you decide what to eat. We ordered our meal at the counter and took a seat to soak in the moment. Within a few minutes they brought out the drinks which were amazing. Some, if not the best horchatta I have ever tasted. Probably 5 to 10 minutes later our food arrived smoking hot and so delicious it was almost unreal. We have been to many central American restaurants in our 16 years together and have never been so happy that our regular spot was closed. I think they have won over our hearts and stomachs. And most of all renewed my happy place to make my girls smile! Keep up...
