I know Frank Lloyd Wright's designs. I studied the Architect's style, philosophy of design, and admire the man & his art. The Frank Bott Home is unique because of Frank Bott's unique tastes, needs and desires in his home, his refuge. With the influence of Mr.Wright's interpretation of his client's request, the home was created. As I studied Architecture, Structural Engineering and became a carpenter, cabinet maker and builder. I could understand the Wright's designs harmony with humanity & the environment. Mr. Wright's philosophy of Organic Architecture best exemplified in Fallingwater (1935). As I love nature and traveled throughout the lower 48 continental states. Mr.Wright's thoughts can be admired in each design. Their uniqueness is original to the person the home was designed for. Each design has its functional attributes but, the originality that is Wright's design of thoughts is pure to the creation's author. Enjoy your life and respect others privacy. A Frank Lloyd...
Read moreI had a wonderful tour at the Frank Bott House by Frank Lloyd Wright. Our guide, Homer Williams, made the experience truly special. He tailored the tour to our interests, I expressed that i was going to school for civil engineering and was incredibly fascinated with the structure and layout, and i asked pleanty of questions and answered every question with insight and enthusiasm. Homer also shared unique stories from the history of architecture that brought the home and Wright’s vision to life. It was an unforgettable visit, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in architecture or design. The views and the rooms are made with unique features and showed a lot of thought when it came to lighting and open spaces. It was amazing to see so much of the structure had majority of the original furniture and materials. I would love to post all of my photos but they would do no justice for how unique the...

John had just completed a course at Taliesin in Spring Green, WI, and was able to actually experience the designs and innovative ideas that Frank Lloyd Wright implemented in the Frank Bott house. Mr. Williams was a gracious and generous host, and the stay in his house was a memorable...
