The casino was fine I'm actually here to rate the restaurant. This happened to be the worst high-dollar restaurant I have eaten at in a long time. I have eaten there numerous times before but today was the worst of the worst. The scallops my wife ordered were not cooked properly. They had no sear on them and they were very rubbery. Whatever the scallops came on top of I believe it was like a pimento something was freaking disgusting. The overall Taste of the whole plate of that order was not good at all. I cannot believe a chef would say yes this tastes good let's put this on the menu. I ordered the burger because I don't know why I ⁷was in the mood for a good burger. I always thought there was no way somebody can mess up a burger boy was I wrong. Did not even eat hardly any of the burger the onion rings I ordered were all stuck together and didn't even get cooked right or crispy. So it's like I was eating just a big thick onion. I don't know about whoever is reading this but me or most people that I know do not just bite into onions talking about that's good food. Not only was the food nasty but itw took forever to get there which I don't understand. How can an order take so long and come back so messed up? The mail was so nasty I just wanted to wash this bad food taste out my mouth with something that tasted better than dirty ass, hurry up and pay my bill and go eat somewhere else. That's what we did. The waitress did a hell of a job trying to make it better seeing how we did not eat hardly any of our food and we left it there. The manager however was nowhere to be found. He or she never came up to our table and even tried to see what was happening and going on. The waitress tried to get us to order something else in her face or male but after waiting so long for something so nasty we was not going to do that again. Who's to say that they would even have made our meal taste right the second time. It makes no sense to me how somebody so slow can't end up cooking a meal so horrible. I remember it's been awhile since I've been there but every other time I have eaten there the place was super busy and qd1fqa and the night we visited there were so many empty tables. It's understandable why there were so many Empty Tables with no management around and having food going out like that. They did try to make it better by giving us a free dessert but they couldn't even get that right and they gave us the wrong dessert. I think it's time to get a new Chef up in there with new menu ideas because what that place has going on exactly why that...
Read moreWe like playing games here because the facility has room to move about without bumping into others. That's important to us. People who use mobility devices have enough room as well. Generally the facilities are very clean, even the restrooms. The payouts are generally about the same as most houses, the staff is pleasant. Restaurants are the problem.... Every restaurant has a variety of foods, but no food stands out as great at the food market or at the Lizard. Many of the foods are seasoned with garlic, not fresh garlic, but jar garlic. The foods are overly garlicky seasoned, so almost nothing is fit to eat unless you just want garlic. I'd recommend eating someplace else. We always like the simple cafe, but it's gone. The casino could have used the food market space for more machines and kept the cafe. We would have been happy for that change. This is an addition from today... we go here often for all the reasons I listed, however today one of the security people at the entrance decided I must be smuggling in contraband and wanted to look in the bag under the seat of my rollator, demanding that I open it so she could search it...It was already open and made of mesh you can see through. I said, "It's open. Why is this a problem today? It has never been a problem before? ( also had a purse she didn't even bother with). "Well you might be bringing in food!" was the reply. Later I was playing and she came by and told me she was going to move my rollator as someone might trip over it... It was behind my chair with at least five foot of space for others to walk by. I told her to leave me alone and stop hassling me. I have a rollator for a reason... I need it to walk. Moving it away from me is not a viable option. I spoke to her supervisor later. She actually reported me for telling her to leave me alone, however her supervisor had the good sense to leave me...
Read moreI recently had the "pleasure" of visiting Kansas Star Casino, and let me tell you, they are absolute experts at taking all your hard-earned money! If you're looking for a place to watch your bank account dwindle away while having a good laugh, then this is the casino for you. Here's why
The Money Vacuum Effect: As soon as you step foot into The Kansas Star, it's like entering a black hole for your wallet. It's truly impressive how quickly they can make your money disappear. The Illusion of Winning: Oh, they're masters at this game! Kansas Star knows exactly how to make you believe that you're on the verge of hitting the jackpot. The flashing lights, the ringing bells, and the occasional "almost there" moments create a false sense of hope. But don't be fooled, my friend. It's all part of their grand plan to keep you playing and losing.
The Unforgettable "Almost" Moments: One of the highlights of Kansas Star is the endless string of "almost" moments. You're just one number away from winning big on the roulette wheel, or one symbol away from hitting the jackpot on the slot machine. It's a rollercoaster of emotions that keeps you hooked, hoping that your luck will finally turn around. But alas, it's all part of their master plan to keep you coming back for more.
Conclusion: If you're looking for a casino that excels at taking all your money while providing a good laugh, then Kansas Star is the place to be.
