Swamp — Attraction in Katy

Its is a little preserved area off the bayou trail and right next to the housing community. It is a proper swamp with 3 viewing docks which cover the swamp from various angles. An an extremely hot day the trails around the swamp were a bit cooler. We had heard of gators here but we saw only one which quickly hid. But there were fish, turtles and various birds.
