Come here during nighttime to see the milky way with your naked eyes. If you want to take pictures of it with your smartphone, here's what you need to do: 1. Turn off flash 2. Increase shutter speed to 10+ seconds 3. Set timer for 2 seconds Click then in 2 seconds put your phone down on the ground with the camera pointing towards the sky, and voila! You have the galaxy in your phone (if you're using Samsung galaxy, it's galaxy in galaxy - Ba dum tss!)

Beautiful views of the ocean! You can stop by on whilst on your drive around the area. There are local fruit vendors that sell a variety of locally sourced fruits that they grow themselves. We saw a path underneath that a lot of locals were using to bike and jog. Not sure how to access this. This is definitely a must visit spot if you are in Kauai.

Great place to fly a drone as long as its not Kona (south) winds. I've been told by several people & personally watched the flights during Kona & Trades. Oh & always remember to stay below 400 feet and yield to helicopters an or planes. Here is three photos one with rain approaching & the view mauka side & of course the view towards Lihue. Enjoy.
