Kamalani Kai Bridge — Attraction in Kauai

Amazing views of the mountains and the beach. However the park is not in the best shape. The castle itself sways when the kids are running around on it. It may need to be condemned or reinforced structurally. 🫣However my kids did still have a good time. As a parent I felt on edge because we were surrounded by people who lived there full time/a homeless population calls it home. It seems like camping is only allowed there a certain number of days a week to dissuade people from camping there permanently but that doesn’t stop it from happening.

It was a fun experience. It had gorgeous natural scenery. Remember to bring your bathing suit! The beach was right next to it, perfect for photos, and the bridge led to a huge wooden playground! It was by a very getto camping ground, though, lots of homeless people, remember to keep your children supervised if they want to play there, do not let them go into the bathroom without an audult either. This is a great place for families with kids. There are lots of picnic tables in the shadow and the bridge is so great for kids to play. There were 2-3 cars where people obviously are living but that was no problem at all. The area was also quite clean and the trash bins were emptied. It seems that there was a problem with this location in the past but it was a good location with our kids today and we will be back.
