The good: Beautiful view of planes flying over a lighthouse. We bought lunch and drove here to enjoy it with waves crashing, nice panoramic view, and pretty much had it to ourselves.

The bad : yes, there were a few tents in a corner leading up to the light house, but there was no one around, or if there was, they were very quiet and kept to themselves. Don't come alone, and as any time you travel, keep your eye open. Husband and I come from urban city and didn't find anything threatening.

The road leading to the light house is through a nice resort / golf course. 5 mins prior to lighthouse is a dirt path, any truck/jeep will make it their fine. Keep eyes open for potholes and of course be careful after any major rain downpour.

Overall worth it in my books. One of the hidden gems...

This is another lighthouse on the island, located right behind the airport. Access requires driving through the publicly accessible Marriott property (a large complex with vacation rentals and a golf course). Follow the signs for the lighthouse. Once you reach the end of the Marriott property, adjacent to the airport, be prepared for a 5-10 minute drive on a dirt road that loops around the property and airport to reach the lighthouse parking area. From there, it's a walk to the lighthouse itself (walking the entire way is also an option but will take longer). Unfortunately, the lighthouse is not open to the public. Despite this, the cliffside location still offers views of planes landing and a nice...

This place is pretty sketchy! So you follow the road to very luxurious hotels and then you enter into a dirt/gravel road. It takes you a one lane road! I would also suggest driving a truck for better handling at this point. Once you get out, you’ll see a tent with tarp on the side, there’s someone or some people living there. It was so scary! I thought that was how I was going to die because it looks just like those horror movies. Under the tents are different luggages and things of all sorts. At this point the only thing going through my head was those luggages belong to different tourists. If you want to go after reading this review please go with a bunch of people or go...

One of my favorite sunrise spots that is often directly below incoming flights in the morning. The lighthouse was recently renovated, and you cannot go inside the structure. There are often a few folks fishing near here in the morning as well as the occasional visitor also there for the sunrise. If you are able, please bring a small bag to collect trash when you make the trip here. While not a knock, I feel like there is often a fair amount of paper and plastic trash littered around the lighthouse and will easily clean up/pack out a full shopping bag worth of refuse each time I catch the sunrise here. A fair trade for a visit to this special and secluded spot!
