A little small, and parking was awful as others mentioned. Very pretty, clean, and the playground looked popular. Not very wheelchair accessible, the mat was clearly just thrown down with no regard for the lumpy sand underneath, so it was still very difficult to use for wheelchairs or anything with wheels probably. There are 4 porta potties, the "handicap" (slightly larger than the others with a rusty handrail) toilet was out of paper. Other than that they were fairly clean, just smelled from baking in the sun. It was a little busy, and parking was completely loaded up. I added a photo of the parking meter with prices. I had to park on a nearby street, but when I got back to my car an hour later, a community service patrolman informed me that parking was actually not allowed on either side because someone maybe forgot to put signs up the rest of the street? Just dont park on the one ways, I guess. Easy walk though, smooth sidewalks up...

I really enjoy visiting Mother's Beach. It's a different type of beach where families share the beach. So if your looking for a Beach where you can bring your children for a day of relaxing in the sun, then this Beach is for you. If your looking for a place to party and raise a ruckus, Then your not going to have a good time at this Family Beach.

MOTHERS BEACH has an amazing view of the Atlantic Ocean through a Cove. Which stretches North across Goochs Beach, in Kennebunk.

It is a Small Rocky Beach that offers a fenced in Playground with swings and slides and a jungle gym attached to the Beach.

There are portable devices avaliable. Handicap ♿ Parking A ♿ Portable As well as a Handicap Ramp down to the Beach.

Hourly...

Nice beach with a good sized playground with equipment for the toddler/baby crowd and older 5+. Parking is $25 a day, and I would imagine on a nice day (today was cloudy with chances of rain) it fills up quick, maybe 30 spaces? We were only going for a quick stop so we parked on a side street. I would suggest taking the trolley if you can pack light for the beach. Plenty of beach low tide, you may have 20ft from the wall at high tide with lots of dry sea weed piles around. Bathrooms are not great, just a porta potty with no changing room. I probably wouldn't want to stay the day if I had a...

I give Mothers Beach five stars. It is a nice Beach there are bathrooms if you have kids there is a playground for them. From June 15th till September 15th you do need a beach pass to park. From September 16th to June 14 you can park was out a beach pass. This is a nice place with the sound of the ocean waves. I know I enjoy a nice healthy walk around the beach with the nice fresh Oceanaire. and wonderful ocean sounds. Morning, afternoon, or evening Mothers Beach is a wonderful place to visit. Again I give Mothers Beach five stars.
