There are an enormous variety of rocks for rock hunter/collectors. Banded Agates Smokey quartz, red agates, jasper, petrified/agatized wood + bone, I've even found tiger eye + others I haven't been able to identify yet. Playgrounds all up and down the river for those with children. Got a boat or jet ski? There are plenty of boat docks + river for everyone.! Big family BBQ.? Lots and lots of shade trees, nice cool water and space to play all your family favorite games too. You can always find a spot to becalone, if your in the mood for some quiet reflection. Read moreNo Pit tours this post Covid year usually available with the purchase of a $5 Columbia Cup commemerative pin. $10 pit pass for Saturday to gain entry. $10 pit pass again on Sunday. Only certain items are available in the pits such as some hero cards, Team logo items and logo promotional trinkets. Hopefully next year will return to tours by volunteers with an opportunity to collect/purchase Team logo materials. In previous years, a goody bag was given away at the end of the tour so most of the free promotional trinkets were already in that bag. Money is tight for many attendees and the children represent the new fans. This kind of goodie bag promotion is immeasurable to the future...
Read moreIt's a park and my dog loves walking the trails. The restrooms dont have stall doors. There are some great running paths and benches. There is playgrounds. There is a frisbee golf set up. There is a goose and duck ponds. The kids love feeding the ducks bread. There are alot of trash cans threw out the park. The East end is set up for kids. There is boat launches at both ends. The Camp ground has been closed for many years. There is an information board near the center just east of Edison on the south side.
