A smaller state park than most of the obes i have been too in connecticut but it is one of the more beautiful parks i have been too. There are many activities that you can choose from. There are rental kayaks gor the lake. ( You can bring your own for no charge) There are also about 30 spots for camping. If you are planning on going to the park I would recommend going on their trails. The longest one is about 1.3 miles but it starts at the base of the lake, then goes up to the top of a hill and goes along the edge of it and then comes back down to the lake. At one part, there is a clearing in the trees and you can see all the surrounding mountains and the beautiful lake down below. I enjoyed this state...
