All the open exhibits were fun for my 3 year old, limited options for my 12 year old. It's expensive, being $20 a person- ages 3 & up. I specifically asked the girl at the entrance of all pricing information: she offered up that she had petting zoo food @ $1.00/ bag, and referred to the park brochure for food stands.
My 3 year old loved the various playground options throughout the area. She spent majority of her time on the tricycles station.
(Parents that smoke 🚭 : I found a hidden ashtrays around the side of barn/building connecting to the trike track.)
There's an extra $5 pass💸 BUY IT. you can purchase, per person, to access the 4 or 5 extra exhibits which otherwise cost $5/6 every time/exhibit. The lady at the entrance of course never told us- they were the only exhibits age appropriate for my older boy... (The general admission activities were mostly slides, play areas, face paint, trikes...ect.) **They would not let us add the $5- 20 minutes after paying to get in.
Popcorn was bland and slightly burnt at $5 a small bag, and $7 for a slightly larger bag. Paddle boats $5/turn, Pony rides @ $5 a ride, my daughter got scared because the guy kept announcing how the horse was a nibbler. Then as she went to pet him, he abruptly said move slowly! She is deaf so moving suddenly may startle her. 😦
Gem dig- was $6 for a bag of rock/dirt that's handed to you. You're then directed to a little water station with a few strainers. My daughter enjoyed this. I however was pretty agitated about paying for a bag of dirt that became a job to assist my toddler in water and dirt- as well as preventing the unsupervised kids from taking her gems.
Both Zip lines were closed, and the hayride is a long line which ends up having you wait through two turns before you get on. It was a fun end to our day & the set up you go through is very cool & not scary for little ones. They make sure to stop in a pumpkin patch long enough for kids to become antsy, with not one smaller size pumpkin to...
Read moreWe came Wednesday 12/18/2024. This was our very first time going to the Christmas Adventure and saying we had a good time is such an understatement!! Everything was so beautiful first and foremost. The staff was incredibly kind all around- so willing to help and answer questions and one employee in particular stood out to me the most. He was the gentleman tonight sitting at the counter right inside Santa’s Workshop. That man was such a precious Human and I could have talked to him all day. (Mrs. Claus was also absolutely precious and kind and her hug was as warm as her presence.) We enjoyed cookies and Hot Chocolate/Coffee. They were very affordable and delicious, creamy, not too hot, perfect. There was something to do around every single corner and despite us coming on a night after some rain, the experience was so wonderful we didn’t even care about the mud in some of the entrances. The Train ride was magical. My three kiddos “ooo’d and ahhh’d” with every bulb. I am a grown woman and I went down the tube slide about 7 times it was so much fun! Such a trill and I felt like I child again but with my babies. There are photo ops around every corner, the music playing sets the mood, the little buildings all decorated and gift shops, petting zoo.. just wonderful. Even the owner himself was so incredibly kind, he was helpful, super involved, welcomed us with warm friendly conversation and I overall HIGHLY recommend going. Thank you Talon Falls, for having my family this evening, and for the incredible memories we all made. Happy...
Read moreI went on a day trip with my sister and her kids to visit Adventure Park. Admission was specially discounted for home schooled kids and their guests, so I paid 10 dollars for the ticket. The property is a farm/petting zoo and small theme park combined sitting in a quiet area near where I live currently. There was a nice hay ride and pumpkins for sale. I rode on a train ride with the others that toured the facility. And I rode tricycles and raced with the other kids. I left a bit early because I got a bit overheated and there was no refreshments available for sale but for a small family operated business that began as a photography studio and wedding chapel, the Talon Falls/Todd Ferren experience has come along way since I was a teenager. My only suggestion would be to have a gift shop with refreshments available for sale so that leaving the park because of heat won't be necessary. The scream park that operates on the same premise after hours was being worked on by employees, while several tour guides tended to the group I was with. Overall, a great G rated simple family friendly and budget friendly event that I would recommend for anyone with small children or those that prefer small parks as opposed to the larger...
