Aviation Heritage Park and Museum — Attraction in Kentucky

That big ol greenish F-4 Phantom that looks like a flying brick was once flown by a pilot on this venue's board of trustees, as were the other planes. I love the Replica of Marine One, the presidential ride recently acquired. They've finished hangar display to make even more stuff to do.

I love planes and take the grandboys here every once in awhile... we even had family pix taken there Summer 2021. Kids love big planes like this and so do their grandpas!

We were visiting bowling Green, had some time to kill. Looking for something free to do, and this place came up.

It was a nice little spot air conditioned definitely a good place to go and they have a theater room where you can watch some educational videos

If you're in the area or if you're nearby it's for the drive if you have some time to kill.

They also have a airplane simulator that you can get on during certain times, it was not available when we were there towards end of day

We finally had the opportunity to visit Aviation Heritage Park in Bowling Green Kentucky and it was well worth it! They were having an event with recruiters from different branches of the service as well as airplane simulators so if you wanted to you could take a virtual flight. The beautiful museum itself is two stories and is packed with amazing military history. There were displays of different aircraft, stories of hero veterans, flight suits and so much more. This is definitely a place to take the kids and go learn about a wonderful country and the people who served and to learn about the aircraftsin the in which...
