That big ol greenish F-4 Phantom that looks like a flying brick was once flown by a pilot on this venue's board of trustees, as were the other planes. I love the Replica of Marine One, the presidential ride recently acquired. They've finished hangar display to make even more stuff to do.
I love planes and take the grandboys here every once in awhile... we even had family pix taken there Summer 2021. Kids love big planes like this and so do their grandpas!

It was a nice little spot air conditioned definitely a good place to go and they have a theater room where you can watch some educational videos

Read moreWe finally had the opportunity to visit Aviation Heritage Park in Bowling Green Kentucky and it was well worth it! They were having an event with recruiters from different branches of the service as well as airplane simulators so if you wanted to you could take a virtual flight. The beautiful museum itself is two stories and is packed with amazing military history. There were displays of different aircraft, stories of hero veterans, flight suits and so much more.
