Basil Griffin Park — Attraction in Kentucky

The pond is beautiful. Lots of different breeds of ducks and geese everywhere. They are accustomed to people and allow people to get closed with out attacking. The sport fields and equipment are well kept. The tennis courts were in decent condition. The disc golf course offered a excellent challenge. The only issue is the parking lot. Our grand kids love feeding geese and ducks here. Plenty of things to do for the kiddos. The park has basket ball courts, football field, soccer field, tennis courts, walking trail and picnic shelters.

Aviation Heritage Park is just adjacent to this park or it is a part of this park itself, which is another great attraction. Overall, it is an excellent park with variety of outdoor activities...

Fun place. But please pick your trash up, the foliage is gone therefore the trash is very visible. I will be there next Sunday February 6 volunteering picking up trash. I'll be there after church around 1. If anyone wants to help clean up, I'll leave a bag of trash bags on top of my black Cherokee. I'll be pack in the parking lot that is near the big cream color church...
