Golden Pond Planetarium and Observatory — Attraction in Kentucky

VERY rude gift shop worker. We drove 90 minutes to watch the laser show in the planetarium. Due to unforseen traffic backup we were 7 minutes late. My 5 yr old granddaughter and I said we wanted to see that laser show, drove 90 min just to see it, and we were really excited - last adventure before taking granddaughter back home to Missouri. Worker said we were too late. I said it was only 7 minutes - it just started. She said the doors are closed, you're too late, go find something else to do - all the while never looking up from her paper, didn't once look at me. The worst video and audio I've ever seen in my life. I'm not sure if this is gov funded or cub scout donationed for upgrades or maintenance. Projected images can't be seen from the glaring light of the projector, the image is so dim or washed out, you can't see the details, not to mention it is gittery and out of focus. We arrived a bit after 11am on Sunday, February 14 2021; all indicators on the website and google maps said they were open. There was even a schedule of showings for the day. We drive an hour to make it our Valentine’s Day trip to find out they are closed.
