You do not need to enter the base to visit the museum. It is outside the main gate. Very thorough, well laid out history of the Army Calvary and troops. It is detailed but can be seen in under an hour, more if you want to read and watch everything available. The staff is very friendly and greeted me as I walked in. They will provide any information you need or let you wander through as you desire. Extremely clean and modern. The soldier did not welcome or at least ask where were we coming from. I have been to a lot of museums and they have professional people at their entrance, welcoming visitors.
