Killington Ski Resort at Pico Mountain — Attraction in Killington

This is the PICO subarea of giant Killington resort.. I visited both areas within a few hours, I was not skiing. I'd prefer PICO for a much lower-key, less expensive, family oriented experience. Not as challenging as the many base lodge areas of the main Killington sites.

Actually Killington main resort was a zoo where skiers spend small fortunes to eat and ski for a weekend. So different from when I visited as a young man in 70/80s, and still in full development phase on the outskirts. I'll never ski or stay there. But PICO...

This is a great place to learn how to ski. There are some challenging trails. The glades are great, nice and wide for those who want to try skiing in the trees. The Last Run Pub has great food.
