I was looking for a short and easy hike with views and this place popped up after searching the internet. There's a dirt road that leads to the parking area for this trail. The parking lot was packed when we went but some people were parking on the side of the road. There's a sign at the beginning of the trail which is a boardwalk. The boardwalk was nicely maintained and easy to walk on. The whole trail is 0.5 miles and it's out and back.

Once we got to the dirt trail, there were a couple of other trail entrances which connects to the larger Appalachian Trail; we decided to head to the waterfall. There was a viewing platform and the waterfall was majestic! We climbed up to near the top of the waterfall and it was steep but worth it. If you're looking for an easy and kid-friendly hike, this is the one you can't miss if you're in the area. I also think it's...

Beautiful place outside of Killington Vermont. On part of the Appalachian Trail, because I was walking the trail is why I know this. There's a long walking platform overcome this phone. Before you get to the falls made out of Trex composite material. Wow now I see how it cost so much to build a footpath platform Trex material is outrageously overpriced IMHO. I hope the local taxpayers didn't have to pay for that. At $8 a board there were a ton of boards. Hopefully as a donation why some rich person not just a way for them to spend money. Button Theory supposed to last 30 years but so would have a wooden one if taken care of. Anyways I digress, The Falls are really pretty worth the 1/2 mile hike from the parking lot it's not a hike. It's a walking stroll. Now you cross the road and go up that mountain now get your winded, I know...

Nice, short, easy, in/out trail (partial boardwark with a viewing area) with the option to scramble/climb to the top of the falls. Intersects the Appalachian Trail. First part of the trail, the boardwalk travels through a dense scrub, the variety of plants was amazing. Was there 1st weekend of August, lots of blooms of different types. Last part of the trail to view the falls is somewhat uphill. Good view of the falls, was running well. Didn't go to the top, but some in my party did and said it was good. Have to go down an unpaved, but easy, road to get to the trailhead. Any car will do fine. Park on road. My time was limited, so this trail was a...

Really nice falls with an easy and scenic hike. The road from 100/4 to get there was scenic as well, with a nice lake on the way. Trail is about 10 mins each way at a leisurely pace, mostly on a board walk. Also spent a few minutes at the stream that is right off the trail. Went early October and was a bit surprised that the falls were flowing. Didn't expect any water since it was fall and little rain leading up to my visit here. Very serene and scenic location. This is seemingly on the Appalachian Trail. About 5 or 6 parking spots, which should be ample most times, but may be crowded during summer. No bathrooms - the bushes are your friend.

Amount of water was very less the time I visited, so wasn't very impressed with the waterfall itself, but the trek is good. The hike towards the waterfall from road is very simple and convenient. There is an option to hike towards the top of the waterfall and was a easier to medium difficulty in my opinion. When I hiked to the top of waterfall, there was a little beach formed because of the concrete wall and the fact that there was very less water flowing that day. There are around 4-5 parking spaces for cars, and the road is not much travelled, so you can park car on the side of road as well, if the spaces are full.
