Epic find. 0.5 mile hike with half on a nicely marked, shaded, wide trail and half down some steep steps. Kid friendly! Wading area with a deep part at the base of the falls only 3.5 feet deep. It is advised to wear water shoes or sandals because of the roots and rocks. When we visited between 12pm and 4pm there was plenty of shade and we went out at 101*, it didn't feel like it! If you're lucky like we were, pack a hammock, few trees available. Definitely a popular spot but not over crowded, people cycle out about an hour at a time. Asphalt parking for about 20 cars. Waterfall face is climbable, be cautious it's a tight climb narrow climb on only dry rock face immediately to the right of the waterfall. We were able to climb it but there were no pools at the top, just flowing streams. Small fish are present, no bigger than 4", and I think a crawfish, be careful if choosing to pick up the big rocks in the water to drop them for a satisfying splash. Dog friendly. Clean, I saw no trash!

My dog and I went on a random road trip and ended up here instead of going to Pilot Mountain. Still ended up there latter anyways. Great little stair master workout stairs on any elevation change. 0.5 miles one way took me 40 mins to go down with the pup take pics and come back up only seen one couple the entire time. Parking lot was empty great time.

Absolutely beautiful, easy trail. Best advice is get there early because the parking lot fills up quick. I got there at 7:30am and had the bottom of the waterfall as to myself. It was so relaxing & peaceful.

This place is amazing to take your family just park at the parking lot walk about a mile down about 57 steps at the end of the steps it can be slippery so be careful there’s a lot of moss on the rocks also so when you’re going up to the waterfall hold on water is clear there is a nice sound coming from the waterfall. Not too many people very nice place to go. I will go was come here again whenever I’m...
