Epic find. 0.5 mile hike with half on a nicely marked, shaded, wide trail and half down some steep steps. Kid friendly! Wading area with a deep part at the base of the falls only 3.5 feet deep. It is advised to wear water shoes or sandals because of the roots and rocks. When we visited between 12pm and 4pm there was plenty of shade and we went out at 101*, it didn't feel like it! If you're lucky like we were, pack a hammock, few trees available. Definitely a popular spot but not over crowded, people cycle out about an hour at a time. Asphalt parking for about 20 cars. Waterfall face is climbable, be cautious it's a tight climb narrow climb on only dry rock face immediately to the right of the waterfall. We were able to climb it but there were no pools at the top, just flowing streams. Small fish are present, no bigger than 4", and I think a crawfish, be careful if choosing to pick up the big rocks in the water to drop them for a satisfying splash. Dog friendly. Clean, I...
