Yet another MA beach labeled free that really hides behind a parking pay wall.

So tired of these public beaches in MA hiding behind huge costs for parking… with empty parking lots. Systemic classism is charging $20 like thats a reasonable price for someone living on min wage or worse disability pay which is in the poverty income zone.

Oh and the parking staff boys are real rude. Super dismissive of all the false information in google about the ‘free’ beach. They just kept saying the beach is free it’s the parking that isn’t… well as a disabled person with pots a long walk from some other affordable parking location is not a viable option either. Can’t even stay in the sun long. This price to enjoy nature in the summer is far past acceptable. And to what end? So someone can block access to the beaches while claiming it’s to pay for the parking maintenance? Last I checked cities do that for public parks… why isn’t it...

My favorite beach and park for my 2 year old! You need a sticker, if I remember correctly it is $30 for a non resident. Just go to the Kingston Town Hall. Totally worth it! Bathrooms were just renovated, park is great for my little guy. They have a play set for 2-5 and another for 5-12. My little guy plays on both and has a blast. There are 2 swing sets as well for each age range. It is completely fenced in with picnic tables and benches. Woodchips for the play surface and everything is in working order. The beach is a little rocky but I have enjoyed rockier beaches. It is a very wheelchair friendly beach. Low tide goes out pretty far and is fun to explore with my little guy. They have 2 basketball courts, a tennis court, and a large field too. Even movie nights some Friday nights in the summer with food and whatnot. All in all a great time...

My favorite park to visit with my toddler. We frequent this park for the playground, picnics, and the beach. The playground is entirely fenced and well maintained. There is play equipment for both toddlers and older children. The beach is always well maintained and since it is a bay beach, there is very little surf so it is perfect for little ones. At low tide it is not good for swimming as it is very mucky, but there are lots of little streams and sea creatures to explore in the mud. There is also a large grassy area perfect for picnics or running around and plenty of picnic tables spread around the park.

I greatly appreciate that as a non-resident I have the ability to buy a beach sticker for this beach, which are very...

Looking for an actual (and accessible) beach in the Plymouth area? This is it. Large grassy area for picnics and frisbees, kid approved playground, and cleanest restrooms I have ever seen at a public beach. Oh, and the sand is great, too, and looks like it is groomed daily. Wheelchair accessible beach with hard tarp secured in the sand as a walkway. Perfect beach for little kids. No lifeguards, so pay attention to them. Really loved this place. Added bonus is free parking! About two miles north of Plymouth waterfront.

My family and I have visited this beach over the last few years and we just keep coming back. We visit Gray's Beach at least 3 to 4 times a year through all seasons. It's small, cozy, quiet and clean. The whole park has been renovated over the last few years as well. My daughter loves it here and this is one of the few places my wife can go and truly relax even in the dead of winter. Worth a visit! We miss living down the street from here.

Very cute little park adjacent to the bay. There is ample parking, playsets for children, bathroom facilities and benches. I traveled to this location to catch the sunset on a cold evening. Park and bay were both clean and there is a very nice atmosphere. Great place to relax in the evening and catch a sunset with a scenic backdrop.
