where it is located is beautiful and a nice walking trail. We moved here about 8 me nths ago and took our dogs for a walk. We carry our own poo bags and leashes on our dogs. BUT, some dog owners don't pick up after their big dogs. It is disgusting. one was even on the paved walk way. You have to watch even your dog walking in the grass area. I cannot believe some people would do that. Also, we saw a man with two dogs, one looked like a mini Schnauzer and one some black dog, did not have them on leashes and not paying attention to them. His eyes were glued on his phone. We had to walk far away on the hill to make sure his dogs did not notice us. Isn't there a leash law in Kingston? Also they should put a few more dog poo bag stations for those who forget...

Pavilion is very nice, clean bathroom. The walking trail goes from the park to the gravel pit down to the 58 landing and around fort southwest point. Near the fort there are a few workout stations along the trail, the trail is well lit at night. No swimming at this park but a lovely spot to walk or jog, take the kids to play there are 2 small playgrounds as well as tennis court and basketball court. The fort had a track, and there is a small baseball field on the other side of the park near the pavilion. Great place to take the kids if you want to have an outing but dont want the hassle of keeping up with them at a large...

I have walked and ran here for years. Today we did 4 miles. It is well maintained. There are nice restroom facilities at three stops. If the track is your thing there's one at the top by the fort. The views are amazing. Almost the whole walk is beside the lake. The whole trail is concrete. Very good place to get a run or walk in. The only really secluded area is around the back of the fort so if you don't feel safe just do an out and back and...

Went to the Kingston Lakeside market today at the pavilion. Normally it's further down near the church on the water. I love this market it has farmers bakers and crafters what a great selection. They advertise that they are there 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. every Saturday weather permitting through September 5th. Rumor has it that they may extend through the fall, keep your fingers crossed!

Connects two parks with boat ramps with an over 3 mile long walking path next to the lake. Along this path is Legion field with a baseball field, track and soccer goals, it goes behind the historic Southwest Point fort. There is also a dog park located across the street from the boat ramp.
