We visited on a storm-free day while on a storm chase tour. The sculptures were amazing. I would have to look at pictures of them again carefully to decide if I agreed or disagreed with them politically 😊 Regardless of their meaning, they are evocative pieces of folk art not to be missed if you're in the area, and worth the trip if you're not. It's refreshing to view open air art set up informally in a neighborhood, rather than in a museum or even a sculpture park.    Read moreSuper cool outside artisit. M. T Liggett is no longer with us, but you can still see his incredible body of work. We showed up on a weekend while traveling to KY, so we didn't get to view the museum.
As an artist myself, I was BLOWN away by the sheer number of sculptures, their humor, and how many of them move and spin. I appreciate artisit that uses scrap and what else would be deemed as trash to create a work of expression.
