Not a destination park.
Grateful, always grateful, when a nature is conserved. Five stars for choosing to preserve this land to any degree. Kingsgate Park is definitely a bonus to the neighborhood.
It is directly adjacent to the freeway. It isn’t a massive chunk of land.
We saw it is a short, local, ‘nature walk’ and not a park in the classic sense. Was there supposed to be a play structure? Maybe we took the wrong path.

Read moreI love this park as the best escape from within the suburb, to feel AS IF, you are deep in the mountains on a trail and have escaped IT ALL. tucked hotdog style in between I-405 and residential, it borderlines hiking difficulty that you should not bring the elderly on, as there can be multiple paths some obviously more steep or challenging than others. just nice trails...
