Beautiful Greenway with river views along the way and a number of nice benches. Great path for biking, running, roller blading, etc. Most of the blacktop surface is pretty smooth and would be fine for scooters and roller blades but there are a few patches that get rough where the older blacktop is worn. The trail maps talk about plans to expand the trail network inter-state. In the spring there's probably a good chance of a flood on parts of the path as it runs through what appears to be a flood plain, but fall water levels were a long way from that.

The Greentree Park Trail is a nice, flat paved path - about half shade and half sun. Only saw a couple of other people between 8 and 10 on a beautiful Sunday morning. There are power lines, but I give a lot of credit to the Parks people for being inventive and creating a pretty place from what could be ugly, overgrown, and no use to anyone. I'll probably be back in the cooler months when I want a flat place to walk.

Enjoyable greenway bike ride, though this beginning section is the least scenic. The Valley Park side is a bit nicer and has a single track mountain bike trail parallel to the Greenway for a small section. Overall, the greenway is nice and wide and has plenty of shade.

This is a nice stretch of land which borders the Meremac River, and is part of the Meremac Greenway. It's great for biking, hiking, jogging, and taking the dog for a walk. Nice trail, with scenic river views. There are also other nearby parks which are well worth checking out. Just a couple of miles away, for instance, is Simpson Park, it's very visit...
