Kitty Hawk Woods Coastal Reserve Dedicated Nature Preserve — Attraction in Kitty Hawk

We were in the back of the resort and it is a little bit older and we had to go f o u r flights of stairs those ridiculous they should have an elevator They don't serve you breakfast there's a Walmart right in front of the resort and there's a lake behind the resort where you can do paddle boating there's a Jacuzzi a pool and a sliding pool inside this Resort customer service was okay it could have been better the rooms are very nice and neat and cleaned that is a number one keeper we did see maybe a spider or two and there can be a few mosquitoes in the building that could be attacking you other than that living in the nature I think that's what you'll...

I stay in Kitty Hawk every March, and visit this place daily. I park at the dog/skateboard park, and it's about a 1-3/4 mile trip along a heavily shaded, easy woodland trail. Pretty close to a 5k out and back. Lots of birds around the channel that spans the south side of the trail, open woods and swampy areas on the north side. On the dog park side, the trail starts with a wide bridge and boardwalk, but that only lasts for a few hundred yards, then the rest of the trip is a woodland trail heavy with pine needles that make it very soft. You will see no houses, no buildings, no real signs of civilization at all -...

O My family absolutely loved this resort! We give it 100 stars! Definitely will go back next summer and stay for 2 weeks, not 1. There is so much there to do and see one week isn't enough! Loved, loved it there! There is one other thing, PLEASE don't forget to check for all of your belongings. I forgot a whole drawer full of my favorite tshirts and tank tops.... we called asap.....but apparently you can't trust the cleaning service because my stuff was never found or returned, even though I told them EXACTLY where they were. Sad that people are not trust...
