Kitty Hawk Garden Center — Local services in Kitty Hawk

I absolutely LOVE this place, and cannot wait to visit again. Unfortunately, I live 600mi.away. There are no garden centers that care so deeply for the plants they raise in my area. At all. The woman who assisted my husband and I, please forgive me for not knowing her name, but she was of Peruvian descent, was kind, personable, and incredibly helpful . She even researched our Hardiness zone, so as to help us with the proper care advice for the incredibly beautiful, well cared for Passiflora plant we bought- back at home! We also purchased a favorite of mine- the ice plant. Thank you so much for the truly outstanding experience, Kitty Hawk Garden Center! We will visit every year from this point forward. Plant selection might be the reason you visit the first time, but the people will be the reason you come back again.

It's a very large but manageable location. Plenty of room to walk around and look at different plants.

The folks are just so nice, genuinely interested in helping. They also know plants, what grows where and what will flourish. They are also very patient with children:)
