Pope Farms Country Store — Attraction in Knightdale

Always nice people! They have a great family farm and sell high quality meats and produce. You can't beat local! I buy all of milk and eggs from this farm. Also their beef packages and selection of poultry and pork are out of this world. I love knowing where my food comes from and how it is raised. I find peace of mind knowing the environment and conditions in which my foods are produced. You can see it for yourself. I highly recommend Pope farms. Very nice people, cute farm and animals. Prices are pretty good and it is great to support local.

My main critique has to do with their cuts of meat. Whoever they use for "processing" does not give consistent cuts. From a single package, ribs and chops may be of drastically different thickness making them difficult to cook. Some very meaty, some have no meat at all, etc.

The meat seems to be of high quality but that is only half the equation. You also need great cuts.
