I called Quality Comfort because I saw they were accredited from the BBB. Customer service is my priority. I called over 20 different HVAC service companies. They were more or less expensive. If they were more they're customer service was poor and seem to just say whatever they could to get to your home without clear quotes or estimates. If they were less than Quality Comfort they as well had poor customer service and the HVAC techs didn't care to try to make a sell because they were answering the phones and in a hurry to go service the business they already had. When I called Quality Comfort Heating and Air Services I felt relieved and valued as a new customer. They responded the very same day to my initial call. When I called back on a different day for my new install Russ the Salesman came out the very same day. He was nice and knowledgeable of the service we needed. He didn't try to haggle me but gave me the fairest price we felt for a top of the line HVAC system. He even responded to our decision after hours and assured me service the next following morning. The guys came out around 8 am. They were quiet and respectful. I didn't hear any loud conversations. They worked hard and cleaned up well after they we're complete. Russ the salesman even came out to the job site while they were working and gave me a courtesy call after the job was complete. I am very happy with my service with Quality Comfort and I will call them in the future for maintenance on...
Read moreMy experience with Quality Comfort Services, Inc. has been less than pleasant. As they were working on installing new AC vents in our apartment they got dust and sediment all over our things. It's common sense to cover things before you start working directly over them but apparently the AC repair people either did not know this or simply did not care. When I confronted them with the issue they gave the excuse that because we live in an older apartment that dust will just travel all over the room. That excuse does not hold water when you consider the fact that the new vents they were installing went directly above our belongings that became covered in layer of residue. One of the employees was going to stand on my bed to work on the vents if I had not told him that we needed to move the bed first. They told us to get someone to fix the holes that they created. They cut into an area in the ceiling that seems to be where they initially planned to put the new vent in my room but decided to put it somewhere else, and just left it like that. They made a hole next to the new vent that was installed in my room. Also, when they were needing to get in the attic they created a hole, and at one point it looked like the lighting fixture was about to fall down.
In short, if you need AC repair I do not recommend Quality Comfort...
Read moreHeat went out on my gas furnace on Christmas morning. Woke up to a cold house at 61 degrees. Called a bunch of HVAC places and the earliest appointment I could get was for 3 days later. Called Quality Comfort and a real person answered the phone very quickly. She took my particulars and symptoms and told me she would consult with the technician on duty and get back with us. Andrew the tech, called me back an hour later and we discussed the symptoms in detail. He said it sounded like a relatively simple fix and he would try to work me into the schedule. Andrew called about an hour later and said he was on his way, be there in 10 minutes. He originally thought it might be a dirty flame sensor, but it turned out to be a frozen condensate line. While he was here he gave the unit a good once over and made other adjustments and he explained each in detail. He also pointed out some appalling things the previous company did when I last had it serviced (put my family in danger) and corrected those as well. Andrew was here for about and hour and did a fantastic job. Total bill was $279, and on Christmas Day!!! I am now a...
