Very nice park. Our site was crowned significantly which made parking and leveling interesting. It also makes for a slanted area off the trailer. The park itself is very pretty with great lake views from most sites. They stack twigs and kindling at the tree bases and sell local firewood if needed. Fire rings are basic and placed away from the sites but offer grates for cooking if that's what you like to do. Some are a bit mushy around them after rain but we had no issues arriving a few days after big storms rolled through. Good luck getting a hold of them between the parks department and reservation.gov it is difficult to find a number for the camp hosts. We had a very late checkin and could not reach anyone but just got to our reserved site and checked in the next morning. The hosts here are extremely friendly and very...

Campground is great, beach access is great, accommodations were nice and clean. This was our first stay here. Only off-putting issue was the inhospitableness of the camp ground host in site 84. Spoke to us very condescendingly and rudely from the beginning and ended up being right next to our campsite. They didn’t want to share their water hook-up with us and treated us like measly folk - likely because we were tent campers next to their nice RV site. We’re a family of managers and correctional officers, with little children - good people who just enjoy real camping. I understand they are volunteers, but being a camp host is a hospitality gig. Being unwelcoming to campers is doesn’t leave people wanting to return. He tried to eventually be somewhat friendly, but the damage was...

We have been camping here for a few years with a group of friends. It is a good time. This year was a little different because we didn't get the spot we wanted and one member of our group was cancelled from their spot so a camp host could take the spot. There isn't water at every site just a few spigots throughout the camping area. But of course the only spigot we could reach was already taken up by the camp hosts so we had to take the rig to the dump station to get water part way through our 10 day stay. Every other year the spigots are open so anyone can use them. But we did have...

This is a nice park with lots of RV camping. The slips are well shaded and good sized for the most part. Appears that there is only electric at the sites. Water is available but not at the site itself. The landscape is lovely at this time of year (fall). Nice place for a walk!

Very nice campground proximity to Beach, and other attractions, clean bathroom, spotty hot water in showers, buildings could use maintenence. Ponca circle was filled with great back in sites that were very wide and flat and shaded.
