Love this spot! There is something spiritually calming about it. It’s right at the beginning of Ángeles National Forest, overlooking the city. You get a taste of the varied dynamics of LA culture from folks who come and go. The smell of sweet cannabis is always in the air and the vibe is chill. The contrast between the natural world and the fabricated, couldn’t be more apparent in this spot. It however, presents a sense of harmony between the two. Read moreSpectacular views! This is the first large lookout point on Angeles Crest Hwy coming from La Cañada Flintridge. There is enough parking for 8-10 vehicles facing the view, side by side. It’s great to come up after rainy days for the clear view of L.A. County. Sometimes you can see out to the ocean from here.
