This was such a pleasant surprise. My boyfriend and I had time to kill before an appointment so he was looking up what was around and found the Skylands Museum of Art. Immediately upon entering, you’re greeted by the nicest woman. She was extremely helpful, would answer any questions and even offers to hang your coat. Another surprise was one artists/founder of the museum Ailene Fields was on site to greet people and answer questions. The building felt even bigger inside than it looks from the outside. Every inch of the facility is tactfully used, by that I mean there was so much work in the building without an overcrowding/cluttered feeling you may experience somewhere else. I highly recommend visiting this museum, I truly enjoyed our time there and I plan to go back. It’s one of those places where you see something new every time you walk through a room. Sorry for my lack of photos, I really focused on just being in the moment while we were there and taking it all in so I didn’t photograph much at all.

Absolutely Amazing, Loved every bit of it. I have to admit I wasn't sure what to expect at first. I was aware of the Exhibit The Phantom of the Opera with work by artist Anne Bachelier. I wanted to see this Exhibit very much. I wasn't sure what else the Museum would offer. Let me tell you, this was a magnificent experience. I loved the Phantom Exhibit. The person that greets you when you enter was very friendly and helpful. The other exhibits were exactly my thing. Room after room of art i could look at all day. The museum itself is a really cool building and laid out really well. The gift shop was awesome and I made some purchases I absolutely love. I will be visiting this museum again for sure and highly recommend it to anyone. Currently open On Friday and Saturday. Hopefully this will expand in the future.

I made a note to visit this place and was pleasantly surprised and delighted by what I saw, as if I had been there in childhood when I looked at an exhibition of children's books. Everything is very excellent, many details that you can look at for hours. I recommend visiting 3 floors of art plus 3 acres of land, where there are also sculptures. Thank you for your work😊

Amazing experience! We were greeted with an extraordinary collection of sculptures and paintings, each telling a unique story about some aspect of humanity, and collectively immersing the visitor in a fabulous world of rare imagination brought into being by talented artists. From the graceful forms of creatures both real and mythical to introspective human figures and flowers, the exhibits echo the intricate dance between life's mutability and artistic expression. Skylands Museum of Art is not merely a museum; it's a sanctuary where art, nature, mythology, and humanity harmonize. And… there is an outdoor sculpture garden which provides a perfect space to find a quiet place to relax among some unique,...
