What a great place to stumble onto. I had intended on visiting a park in lower Lake Forest Park but decided it wasn't quite what I was looking for to take my dog on a walk. As I drove on I saw the sign for Grace Cole Park. The road that takes you down to the Park reminded me of being on a country road with old growth trees and older homes sitting on sizable lots. I came upon a small gravel parking area with maybe 4 parking spots. We were the only ones there surrounded by trees and the sound of birdsong-I had this feeling of being far far away from home. Our journey into the park was brief as both of us have mobility issues and it had started to rain again, but I can tell you that I continued to be astounded by the ground foliage to the tall trees and the sound of the babbling creek running through the park. I will be returning soon if not tomorrow to discover what else this place has to delight the senses. I highly recommend this park especially if you like walks...

I originally went to the animal park but quickly saw that was not for me and my pup. Luckily grace cole.is nearby and was just what we were looking for. We - my 11 year old border collie and my self - went on a Wednesday afternoon mid January. It is the 3rd day of snow and people in this state flock to the snow - it's hard to find a quiet area. But Grace came through. One other car in the lot. The minis one star is the fact that it's so short. There are two areas to explore - the forest and the boardwalk. Worth the drive from Mill Creek on a snowy day but we also stopped by. McCollum on the way home because it's...

I came here because I was feeling down and I thought it was going to be an easy 36 min walk from home but I was wrong! I enjoyed every minute of it and the whole park was by myself, I did not encounter a single person until I was leaving. I crossed paths with a couple deers when I got to an area where it says to keep out, I wanted to get a little closer to take a photo of the deers but i didn’t want to get in trouble, I also heard something walk on top of the hill of that area and it wasn’t a deer, it was walking like a person but i couldn’t see what it was I only saw the humanly...

Got my cardio! Steep groomed trails with rest benches & a nice creek. Lots of birds and animals - including something quite big rustling around in the bush that I couldn't see! Not too big, took (slow) me 30 minutes to climb the hill and back down, but what a beautiful patch of NW forest. 🐶 friendly & very clean.

Very pretty park with a decent sized hill and a few benches. It’s the perfect size for a weekday walk with the dogs. There are a lot of families and everyone has been friendly whenever we go here.
