What a great place to stumble onto. I had intended on visiting a park in lower Lake Forest Park but decided it wasn't quite what I was looking for to take my dog on a walk. As I drove on I saw the sign for Grace Cole Park. The road that takes you down to the Park reminded me of being on a country road with old growth trees and older homes sitting on sizable lots. I came upon a small gravel parking area with maybe 4 parking spots. We were the only ones there surrounded by trees and the sound of birdsong-I had this feeling of being far far away from home. Our journey into the park was brief as both of us have mobility issues and it had started to rain again, but I can tell you that I continued to be astounded by the ground foliage to the tall trees and the sound of the babbling creek running through the park.
