Hamlin Park feels like stepping into an enchanted forest. The tall trees tower above you, and when the sunlight filters through the branches, it’s absolutely magical. My daughter and I spent the afternoon exploring the well-loved trails, listening to birds, and identifying several species using the Merlin app—it was such a peaceful and fun experience.

We also found a few geocaches, adding a sense of adventure to our walk. It looks like the park was hit hard by the recent bomb cyclone—there are quite a few fallen trees—but the trails are still well maintained and easy to navigate. Despite the storm damage, the park retains its charm and remains a beautiful place to connect with nature. A gem...

This is a really great park with a ton of trails, big grassy areas, and nice areas for kids to play. However my dog hates this park due to the large number of off-leash dogs we’re constantly running into, every single time we try to go here. There’s signs posted everywhere saying dogs must be on-leash, but I wish someone would show up to hand out tickets one day. There’s literally a designated off-leash dog park less than half a mile away. So disappointing and frustrating that my dog and I can’t enjoy this park without getting approached or attacked by off-leash dogs with...

Not sure if I should vamp this place and keep it safe from being used for any other purpose ever, or keep it secret. Because for someone who loves trees and forest walks, it is the greatest park in the Seattle area. It is magic inexpressible. You will be transported away from the houses and buildings, from the trashcans and commutes. You will be in the woods, paths and tree covered hills, kids building forts out of sticks and logs, room to ride and run, lonely spots, Majesty, birds, friendly neighbors. Incredible place. I do morning walks there that correlate...

Wonderful hiking oasis with winding trails in the midst of suburbia. We’ve been lucky enough to see an owl and recently spotted a raven hanging out in the trees. I’d give this 5 stars if it wasn’t for the large number of people with off-leash dogs on the trail. The owners seem unaware (or simply don’t care) that there’s a leash law in Shoreline. If you have reactive leashes dogs or small children with you, stay alert.

We love Hamlin Park. It's quiet and peaceful and there's almost always easy parking. The wooded trails feel secluded, but you're never too far from the car if you get tired. We bring our baby here to get some fresh air and help him calm down after a busy morning of play. There are bathrooms but the toilets in the women's room don't have toilet seats, and there are no paper towels and only sometimes soap.
