Just attended a wedding here..NOT impressed with the actual venue- however; the food was quite good ... NOT A GREAT PLACE TO HAVE YOUR WEDDING" IF" THERE ARE OTHER WEDDINGS SCHEDULED FOR THE SAME NIGHT HERE! The noise/sound etc TRAVEL AND ITS LOUD AND ANNOYING TO HEAR THE OTHER RECEPTIONS TAKING PLACE.... NOT GOOD!!!....AND ITS NOT ELEGANT AND TRANQUIL ""at all""!!!! * note of caution.... if you want a elegant wedding reception MAKE SURE "you book the entire location" otherwise YOU WILL SEE AND HEAR LOTS OF CONFLICTING NOISE FROM OTHER RECEPTIONS!!UNLESS YOUR GOING THE CHEAP ROUTE? AND HAVE YOUR WEDDING ON A FRIDAY ?-MAYBE THEN? IT WILL BE OK?* OR ....IF YOU GO REALLY **********cheap and tacky and have your venue on their grounds in a MARQUEE(tent).......(NOT ELEGANT AT ALL)....... You might ......escape the noise....from another reception taking place the same ...

We got married at the Armour House in August, and it was a great experience from start to finish. The food was great, the venue is obviously stunning, and Christine and Alisa were very flexible. We had signature drinks with our last name written in them, and the bartenders actually practiced making the signature drinks a few weeks before our wedding to ensure that they got them right. We had a tasting the December before our wedding and a decor meeting in the March/April before to go over all of the details. Alisa and Christine were always quick to answer our questions. The head chef, Mark, was very sensitive to our guests' dietary restrictions and even set up a few phone conversations with guests to ensure that he could make something to accommodate their restrictions. Overall, everything ran smoothly, and we were able to have the wedding of our dreams. We would ABSOLUTELY...

My wife and I just had our wedding here and it was a dream. The venue is absolutely stunning inside and out. The catering is also fantastic, and made for a great day all around. Unfortunately, the staff did not match the quality of the venue. Gail was a difficult coordinator to work with, both before and during the day. She was quite unprofessional at times, bad mouthing her colleagues (who we were also working with) and also just ignoring requests that we made abundantly clear. For the amount of money you pay to have a wedding here, you really want to feel at ease and that your opinion is being prioritized, but she was a stressful presence on the wedding day and seemed most concerned about how she thought things should be done. With some different staff, we would have had the 5 star experience to match this...
