KFC — Restaurant in Mettawa

ZERO stars. Wanted Nashville hot tenders. Out of everything except popcorn chicken and regular chicken. Cashier stared at me incompetently when I asked for popcorn chicken with the Nashville hot sauce on it. Told me no they can’t do that. Started to get a line behind us, and none of the other workers behind him bothered to help. I suggested that maybe they give me a small cup on the side of the Nashville hot sauce so I could dip the popcorn chicken. Cashier walked to the back to the other two employees who were just standing there watching the line build up, asked them if they could accommodate my request. They told him no. The cashier came back and just stood there and stared at us and didn’t say anything until we spoke first. We ended up walking away without getting anything. Regardless of the moronic attitude and inability to fill a simple request...the bozos working in the back should have stepped up and helped their cashier as he stood there with a line of people accruing. Not to mention, there should have been an option of something as a resolution. Since they obviously weren’t trained in customer service...I shouldn’t...

I ordered a famous bowl, they asked if I wanted to try the new spicy famous bowl. I assumed it would be spicy chicken, but no, they literally take a normal famous bowl and cover it with a thick layer of gross, spicy oil. It did not taste good, at all. Like a pool of oil.

After taking literally 1 bite, I went to the counter and told them I didn't like it and asked if I could have a regular famous bowl instead. The lady at the counter SAID NO. She literally said they can't just trade me because I didn't like it. But.... that is how restaurants work. Literally ALL restaurants. I have never just been told to throw the food (and my money) away if i don't like it.

It's a disgusting menu option. And at the very least, they should describe what it is, so I could make an informed decision. It's super bad customer service to not exchange the food and it really makes me not want to eat at...

I've been here a few times. First time, I went, the cashier was talking down to her employees and told them that they were just gonna have to deal when they were asking a question. Asked for dark meat only, was told, "Well someone forgot to put white meat out so you don't have to ask now." Like we were supposed to already know?? Wrote it off as a bad day. Went back again the next day, the service was still quite rude. I asked for mac and cheese, and she said "Well, you are not allowed to switch anything out." Saying that is neither here nor there, but I did not like her attitude. She seemed to just reply in an abrupt and rude manner. I don't think I will be...
