Uniontown Community Park — Attraction in Lake Township

My kids and I love riding our bikes to this park on nice days. It’s very well kept and always clean. The newer portion of the playground is really nice and is perfect for kids of all ages. I really wish they would update the wooden playground side though because my boys love going down into there to play. My only complaint and I’m sure it’s at no fault of the park but there are several older people who like to cause issues with kids and families that are there. Three times I have been there when a man has come out of the woods where the walking path is yelling and carrying on about my children having bikes at the park. I am with my kids and have never let them ride anywhere other than through the parking lot. We also had an older man walk all the way up to us at the playground screaming at us about being loud and to be quiet. They’re kids… they’re going to laugh and yell while playing. What a great little hidden gem! Would have never known if I didn't see it on Google maps. Very clean park with almost new play structures for kids of all sizes. Lots of slides of all different heights. Great challenging climbing features. There's a beautiful pond and gazebo too. Additional play structures and challenge play structures on the wooded side. I suggest bringing water as we didn't see any water fountains. Somewhat dog friendly with a short walking trail. Glad we found this great little park and we'll definitely be returning to play soon! Great park. One side with the pirate ship, car, sort of obstacle course is fully shaded. The green playground has a bench and one small playset in the shade. The rest is full sun but it is a lot of fun for kids. There is a variety of structures and slide that makes it good for toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary kids.
