My wife and I had our 50-guest micro wedding at Lehmann Mansion in Spring 2024, and Sara was our point of contact. We poked her many times, sometimes repeating our questions, but she was patient with us throughout the entire process. She was also very accommodating with minor requests regarding outdoor decorations and pre-wedding getting ready time in the bridal and groom suite. Be aware she absolutely does not do phone communications; your conversations will be email-only, and that is probably because us grooms and brides wouldn’t let her sleep otherwise LOL. That said, Sara stays professional through the whole process and will answer your questions within a reasonable period of time.
It is really convenient that catering is in-house. We loved all of our choices for cocktail hour and dinner. We ordered the caprese skewers and beef Wellington bites for cocktail hour. For dinner we had chicken saltimbocca, Guinness short ribs, Vesuvio potatoes and corn salad. Our only critique here is that the saltimbocca was not quite as good as it was during the tasting. We got it gluten-free for the wedding to accommodate a guest. We were advised that removing the light flour coating from the chicken wouldn’t change the flavor much, but in our opinion it was definitely not as good as the original. That said, the guests didn’t know that, and overall the food was huge hit. The staff did a great job as well.
Another minor critique we have was about a piece of decor. Lehmann Mansion sets out a mirror with the couples names on it at the entryway, and we weren’t given input on how those names are written. My legal name is different from my preferred name, which is what we used on all the wedding invites and communications with Sara. Unfortunately my legal name was written on the mirror instead. We discovered it the day before the wedding when we came in for the rehearsal, but it was too late to change it as the person who writes on the mirror had already left for the day, so they had to scrap putting out the mirror on our wedding day. We were glad to have caught it beforehand and thankfully it was a small detail that didn’t impact the quality of the wedding.
Thanks to good communication, accommodation, quality of food, value, and customer service, we rate our overall experience with Lehmann...
Read moreWe just had our wedding 9/30/2023, and Lehmann Mansion did not disappoint! The venue is absolutely beautiful, the staff are professional and know exactly how to run a wedding, the food is great, and for a great price too! It was extremely nice to have a venue that takes care of all the rentals, sets up and tears down, and has preferred vendors. We used their preferred vendors for florist (Larkspur&Leo), DJ (Grand DJ Entertainment), and desserts (Lovin Oven). Everything went pretty flawlessly on our wedding day. Jay was always on top of everything and was quick to respond to all of my emails for planning. He is also flexible with different arrangements- we did an open bar for cocktail hour and then had a his/hers cocktail that we prepaid for a certain number of bottles in addition to the house package (beer and wine). He even worked to order in mezcal for my cocktail! Our guests had a great time and were definitely impressed with the venue.
We were able to hang out in the bridal suites before starting pictures, had the ceremony outside, cocktail hour on the terrace, and reception in the tent. A lot of people had fun exploring...
Read moreThis was my first time visiting the Lehmann Mansion, and I was very excited because I'm aware of the history of the family in our area. We attended a Murder Mystery Dinner event there, which seemed like a great way to check the place out. The Mansion itself is as gorgeous as you'd expect. The food and staff, however, were not as I'd expect. The individual who likely the manager on duty wore a baseball hat (which did not seem to be part of the uniform) during the event. The bar tenders appeared to not know what the drink specials being offered were. The food served seemed like leftovers from previous meals, nothing went together... Cuban Sandwiches and Fish & Chips were the entrées. The vegetable was advertised as "Ratatouille" but tasted more like garlic mashed cauliflower. There was lovely Grape Salad which we enjoyed. And the desserts offered were cakes and cookies, which tasted good. As for the entertainment, I will not review that, but it certainly was also not what I expected. I don't think I would go back for another event where I had to pay based on...
