I've been tasting wine for 30 years and even if I didn't care for the wine at a particular winery, it was still a pleasant experience. The wine server (he said it was his winery but we found out it is his father's) was beyond rude. I asked for a taste of a wine and he told me that wasn't open (it was on the tasting list). Then he asked if I was drinking or buying, because if I wanted to drink the bar was down the road. That is when I decided to leave. There was more rude exchange as I walked to the door. I asked if he was trying to drive away customers because he was successful (the room was empty). I took my business down the street and they told us they had heard the same from other customers before. Sad that a nice family winery will suffer because of bad customer service.
