Antlers Park Beach — Attraction in Lakeville

Park is CLOSED until summer 2024 - undergoing a major renovation. I wish the city of Lakeville would have done a better job at posting this online and from Ipava Ave. A couple simple banners would have helped a ton of people from jamming up Italy Ave with their vehicles, making it difficult for residents to leave and return to their driveway and homes. There are residents living on Italy Ave that were forgotten about. C'mom city of Lakeville ... you can do better! A little advertising can help a lot of people from traveling many miles to find out last minute that the park is closed. And then they have to deal with getting their car turned around on a dead-end road. If you Google search "beaches in Lakeville Mn" it shows Antlers Park as Open. Not very professional on the city of Lakevilles...

The Cafe here is great. They have amazing ice cream for all dieter needs and adult beverages for any palette. There are multiple volleyball courts that often stay busy until after sunset so get there early or look to hop in on an open game. The kids playground is top notch with stuff for all the kids ages and is right next to the bathroom for quick access. The bathroom is very clean and spacious even though the park can get busy. The view across the lake is gorgeous any time of day with lots of space on the sand and in the water to play. There is no doubt as to why this was named one of the best lake...

We’ve been coming here to this park many years! The beach is absolutely fabulous! We take our boat out on this lake during summers very frequently! There’s also a wonderful playground, several volleyball court areas, a place and water area for dogs to go swimming, and many many picnic table areas with grills. This park is very large and spread out. I can’t recommend a bit better gathering place locally...
