LBC on the Lake — Restaurant in Lakeville

LBC on the Lake is a true gem!

I recently visited LBC on the Lake, and it was an absolute delight. The customer service was outstanding, especially thanks to the friendly and enthusiastic local high school students who went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Their warmth and genuine smiles made the visit even more special.

As for the ice cream—WOW! The selection from Honey and Mackie's is simply the best. The flavors are rich, creamy, and downright delicious. Whether you're a fan of classic favorites or adventurous combinations, there's something for everyone. My personal favorite was the Cookie Monster, but every flavor we tried was amazing.

The combination of top-notch customer service, views of Lake Marion, and the incredible ice cream makes LBC on the Lake a must-visit spot. I can't wait to go back and enjoy more of this wonderful...

We really wanted to love it here, but we left really disappointed with the food. We ordered the chicken finger basket, cheese curds, chicken nachos, pulled pork sandwich and sweet potato waffle fries. The chicken in the basket was very good but the fries were dry. Cheese curds were fine. The nachos tasted burnt and had an odd flavor. The pulled pork had chunks of pork with gristle and fat; not nearly pulled enough - that could have been good but meat needs to be shredded much better. Coleslaw with that was good. The waffle fries were so salty they were nearly inedible. The staff was very nice. Service was very fast, but I’d rather have it take longer for better food. The atmosphere is beautiful and well kept dining area. The ice cream was also just okay and small portions for such an expensive cost. We wouldn’t return unless food...

Unfortunately felt the need to write this review. We have been going to the brewery for years and our kids love the foods and backyard patio. We have been frequenting the beach spot as well. The food is not as good as the brewery but it is a good spot. One of the owners at a meeting during the week felt the need to snap at my wife that our 3 year old had taken enough silverware and they pay for that. My wife was currently ordering food with our newborn and 1.5 year old with her. Super unfortunate behavior for a toddler taking 7 pieces of silverware. Maybe invest more money in the quality of your food and worry less about a toddler taking 7 pieces of silverware. We will not be frequently these spot on a weekly basis anymore. Super unfortunate and since this happening doesn’t sound like this was a one off dealing with staff...
