Great place for kayaking. The water is clear enough in many places to see plant life below. We saw a loon diving; a turtle swimming; geese nesting; and plenty of (little) fish. Only a few fishing boats before late afternoon, but boat traffic did pick up later in the day. Very nice park where we launched and very nice beach on the other side. Read moreThoroughly enjoyed this lake. Clean water, with a few weed beds that have good fishing most likely. Launch area is awesome with tons of space for easy maneuvering of trailers and so clean and new.
Antler Park was also amazing. The beach is massive and clean. Everything looks brand new with a place to beach your boat and walk up to the ice cream shop, or use a bathroom, or just let the kids play at the beach. Traffic was not bad at all for a 95 degree Saturday, with plenty of room for tubing, wake surfers, and skiers to not cross paths...
Read moreThe lake was very clean decent size for boating and watersports. Mostly weed-free. A couple of sandbar areas available to throw in an anchor & chill for awhile. The newly remodeled city beach was very busy with families picnicking and enjoying the facilities.
