West Lake Marion Mountain Bike Trailhead — Attraction in Lakeville

This is an uber fun little track that literally has a little something for all riders. If you are an advanced rider and want to ride with a beginner, this is the perfect track as it will allow you to do a quick off shoot loop while your beginner stays on the inner loop. Even if you are riding with your beginner on the inner loop there are enough optional features off to the side to keep you fully engaged. A huge thank you to the City of Lakeville and all the volunteers for making this happen!!!

Not to sound greedy, but if this trail and skills park gets some sort of grooming during winter riding season it would be the cherry, on top of the sprinkles, on top of the whip cream, on top the ice cream, on top...

This is a fun trail and had more trail distance than I thought as they pack it in well. Green and some blue was great for my 7 year old on his fat bike. I was able to sneak off and do some blacks. They have some technical features and areas that are challenging. Many of the trails have tight corners and berms which enable you to build cornering skills quickly. Many pump and jump sections too...which I roll now after an injury but can get nice speed. If you move quick you can get your heart rate up as there is regular elevation changes. I have great rides here. Something for all ability levels, well maintained trails, bike park is constantly being tinkered with so people can keep building skills (a jump line like what's at Monarch or Carver would be absolute money). Looks like there have been some people on dirt/motorized bikes ripping through lately so be cautious of that (I'm not talking e-bikes or pedal assist bikes. I mean motorized bikes that shouldn't be on the trail because they damage...
