Super fun! Just think of a Wipeout course that spans the length of a football field! Had a great time with the hubby and kids here! Children must be 7 , meet height requirements of 45", and able to swim to participate. Water shoes will help you grip the course better, but not required. Regardless if the people in your group are able to participate or not everyone must have a paid ticket. Reservations made on the website are required. Tickets may seem a bit steep in price to some, but worth the years of ridiculously funny stories you will tell. The drive is a winding, scenic, trek to Lake Travis. Once you get to the parking area, at your designated time a shuttle will pick you up take you to the dock where you will get on a boat and head over to the adventure Park. There are air conditioned bathrooms, outside changing rooms ,plenty of seating areas with umbrellas, hammocks, yard games for you to participate in when you're not in the water, and lockers to store your personal belongings at no fee. When you're hungry there is a food truck with lots of food and drink options ,at very reasonable prices, not to mention delicious! There is a bar if you would like a cocktail or beer, small coolers are available for no fee, all you have to do is ask! And when you're too pooped to party anymore, just walk down to the dock, the boat leaves at intervals throughout the day. Life vests are required, and provided. Service dogs only allowed. Zipline also available, for a fee. We will definitely...
Read moreMy husband and I took a weekend trip to Lake Travis this past weekend and had a reservation for Waterloo on the Saturday. The online reservation process was quick and easy and we were able to pay as well as file a waiver. We followed all instructions provided and parking, check-in was a breeze. We got there an hour early, as requested and a shuttle van took us from the parking area to the check-in location for our wristbands. From there, you go to the dock and wait for a boat to take you to the grounds. They have lockers available for free as well as life jackets and concessions to buy drinks/food. They have plenty of chairs/umbrellas so you can chill out when you're not on the obstacle course. You're only allotted 45 min on the right side of the course which was plenty of time because by the time the 45 min was up, you were ready for a break. We initially thought the $54 fee was a bit much but it was honestly worth the price. Not only can you stay to the left side of the course for the whole day, you can add on an obstacle course session for $10 as well as chill out under the umbrellas or hammocks until closing. Most people were barefoot and were slipping a lot. We ordered water socks off Amazon and we are SO glad because they were much needed so keep in mind. Highly recommend and we can't...
Read moreExtremely unsafe in COVID times - no social distancing, no masks by staff except bartenders (who wore below their nose) and a lame attempt at cleaning (two sprays on shared life jackets). Also - no free water. You’re not allowed to bring your own drinks and then they gouge you...for water. Totally not worth the price or hassle.
Upon reviewing the reply by the management, I’m updating my post. The staff didn’t wear masks (the individuals giving the safety protocols and washing life jackets) while the staff who wore masks (bartenders) wore them only to cover their mouths - noses exposed while pouring a serving. The safety lesson taught before going to the water consisted of gathering all participants in a small area (no masks, impossible to distance) before realeasing the group to the obstacle course...shoulder to shoulder. The safety speech mentioned nothing about distancing or protocol. I believe it’s not only safe but appropriate to offer free water at a sports/physical establishment or allow water to...
