Conquered my fears and this Ziplining experience is the best I’ve had in Ziplining!!! First off, it’s a beautiful drive from the busy life to the scenic Lake Travis area! Lots of parking and signs to get to their office, easy registration! They already have your name and you don’t need to repeat everything! Their waiting area has a lot of chairs under the tree to kind of ease you in the e outdoor adventure you’re about to partake! They have comfy restroom before the hike. The ferry was a nice touch to get to the Zipline platforms. They have water you need all throughout the stops. And the tour guides!!! Shout out to Julie, Nathan and the Ferry guy I forgot his name—-they will make this tour a once in a lifetime event! If it’s your first time, they walk you through everything including the expectations and the rules. The do’s and dont’s are very clear! Went on the 9:30 group to give us time to get there early, not wake too much early, and beat the hot weather of Texas. Wear comfy clothes, don’t bring too much on you—-they do have free lockers which help. Julie and Nathan were able to also take pictures and video you don’t need to worry about capturing your memories! They made us all I. The group feel safe and enjoy the fun! Four zip lines. The first two is easing you into the last two which was my favorite. The hike made me feel like I’ve earned the Zipline fun! Julie and Nathan were very organized! I’m amazed with how well they can make work looks like play! Their equipment are high grade! They will stop the zip for you so no need to worry about wearing gloves to stop or slow down your own speed! Now that is totally worth every single $ you spend here! We are able to give tips with CC they just charge you a penny I think in case you don’t have cash in hand. We got their digital package of all the pics they took for just $45 . Not a bad deal! They have three different photo packages to choose from. The last landing is a great spot they sell drinks and have comfy couches to sit on with a huge fan to cool off—-and overlooking the lake which at this time is 80% full—- thank God for the rain!
But as a Yelp event!!! Thank you for the organizers! It was so easy to book and a great week to get your planner ready to not miss this fun filled—-support your local biz! Everybody in the group was so fun and game to celebrate my plus one’s birthday! The bar got higher yet again and so so blessed to be a part of this...
Read moreThrilling Adventure at Lake Travis Zipline Adventures in Austin I recently had the chance to experience Lake Travis Zipline Adventures, and it was an absolute blast! Nestled in the beautiful Texas Hill Country just outside Austin, this zipline tour offers a perfect mix of adrenaline-pumping excitement and stunning natural scenery. From the moment we arrived at their facility in Volente, the staff made us feel welcome and safe. Our guides were incredibly friendly, professional, and full of energy—they cracked jokes, shared fun facts about the area, and ensured everyone was properly geared up. If you’re a first-timer like I was, don’t worry; they walk you through everything step by step. The tour itself consists of five ziplines, each progressively longer and more exhilarating. The hikes between lines are moderate but rewarding, with panoramic views of Lake Travis and the surrounding hills that make the short treks feel like part of the adventure. The highlight for me was the final zipline, which is the longest in Texas at over 2,800 feet—flying across the lake at speeds up to 60 mph was unforgettable! 7 The views of the sparkling water below and the rugged landscape are simply breathtaking, especially if you time your visit for a clear day. They also offer night tours, which sound epic for a different vibe under the stars. 4 Safety is clearly a top priority here; all equipment is top-notch, and the guides double-check harnesses and provide clear instructions before each launch. It’s suitable for a wide range of ages and fitness levels, though you should be prepared for some walking and elevation changes. We went as a group of friends, and it was a fantastic bonding experience—lots of laughs and cheers as we zipped through the air. Overall, I’d give Lake Travis Zipline Adventures a solid 5 stars. It’s well worth the drive from Austin (about 30-45 minutes) and the ticket price for a half-day of fun. If you’re looking for an outdoor thrill in the area, this is a must-do. Just book in advance, especially during...
Read moreThis was such a fantastic experience! First off the LTZA campus is great; they have lovely grounds with lots of chill spots to hang out, fun merch, and air conditioned portable toilets! Our tour guides, Miriam and Nathan, were both amazing- super friendly, lots of cheesy jokes, and very encouraging and upbeat the whole trip making sure no one was uncomfortable or too nervous.
This would be a 5 star adventure just for the guides, but of course we are here to zipline! And the ziplining was amazing! First you take a quick boat ride across the water, then they start you off slow with two short ziplines to get the hang of it, but the fun really starts with line 3! You go over the water and get a fantastic view of the lake; tons of fun. My favorite line was the last one the 'double barrel shotgun' which was the longest, but also you got to go with someone else so it was fun to 'race' my husband down (I thought I was for sure going to win but he tucked up into a little ball and beat me by a mile!).
Do note that they are serious about the hiking- while the actual time spent hiking is not that much (I'd guess maybe 30 min total) and its broken up into small bits, there is a lot of elevation climb and 80% of it is just going up stairs! So its a lot and on a hot day it would be rough (though most of the trail is shaded). You are also hiking in your zipline gear so I'd recommend longer shorts or leggings seemed like the pick. I was wearing jean shorts and it was manageable but I think leggings would have been more comfortable. They do provide tons of free water and they are serious about heat safety, reminding you to take helmets off after each ride. I also love that they have a little refreshment stand at the end so you can grab a cold beer/soda to reward yourself for all that work!
This was an amazing experience and I would 100% recommend anyone...
